Exhausted and What time?

Where has all my time gone? Looks like I'm going to have to really step it up when it comes to blogging! How do you other working mom's do it (that includes stay at home moms which in my book is THE hardest job out there...really I'm not just trying to sweet talk you, I'm horrible at it)?

It has been a whirl-wind of emotions this past 2 weeks.

Work is fine, crazy but fine. I'm really trying to start off on a good note even though it seems like so many things are already trying to knock me off my feet. The craziness will pass and routines will be set. The kids are doing GREAT with the transition. They love Mrs. Kathy's and play their little hearts out. Plus Mrs. Kathy is so good at routines and schedules (which every kid thrives with...example of why I fail at the whole stay at home mom thing. If you know me you would agree! Flexibility is my middle name!!) The whole family is a little tired at night, but so far the family is doing great.

My emotions are a little uncontrollable right now. I have a handful of friends/coworkers that need a lot of prayer. So many people that are close to me have been hit with tragedy that no one would ever wish upon another person. One of these friends has a blog. I really encourage you to check out Jason and Katie's story. My stomach gets so upset and I find it hard to breath just thinking about their situation, but they are so strong. It is so encouraging to see how faithful people are to God's call on their life. I know Katie has reached so many people with her faithfulness and obedience. I will never forget the words she spoke at her baby's memorial service.

One thing Katie said that will be forever in my heart and I will even be able to hear her voice and exactly how she said it was "God is EVERYTHING He says He is or He is nothing at all. I can't believe He is nothing. He must be enough." I honestly do not understand how anyone could have left Reese's funeral with out knowing Jesus as their personal Savior. Truly. Powerful.

So these past few weeks have been filled with a lot of thinking and priority checking.

  3. I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time of it. I am positive things will get better. I know you have such a heart for those kids, and that alone will always carry you. That is a special gift.
