So Owen had his 6 month check-up last week. He weighed 17 1/2 lbs and was 26 1/2 inches long. Still growing, but was ONLY in the 50th percentile in both. I know, I know most people would love their kids in the average range BUT I have been conditioned (like most people) to shoot for 100%. I felt a little disappointed, BUT then I soon realized I AM A HUGE DORK! I guess I just really love little fat nugget babies!
I thought a would pull out a oldie, but goodie picture of the nugget himself!
This by far has been his most talked about picture. Now does that look like a 50%-er? Can you truly have man-boobs and be 50%? Go figure...I'm still puzzled but at least I got it off my chest!
If he is 50%, I'd like to see 100%!! My word, Jeb would have been in the negative!!!

ReplyDeleteToo funny! My little guy has always only been in the 25% on length. He takes after his Papa. He is now almost four and looks like he is almost three.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you did not kidnap my baby. Looks like my Aidan, and he is well in the 100 percentile on his weight. He does weigh more than Aidan, has the same Bumbo seat, has had sunglasses and a hat on at the beach, and guess what, close in age. Aidan was 6 months August 23. Oh yeah, man boobs too!
